Weekend Respite Stays at Camp Papillon offer individuals with disabilities a chance to enjoy a serene weekend getaway amidst the beautiful landscapes of Lanaudière.
Located in an enchanting setting, Camp Papillon provides weekend respites from September to June. The camp’s charm shines through in every season—winter, autumn, and spring, as well as summer. With a wide range of activities tailored to each season, there’s always something engaging to do. Respites are scheduled on specific dates based on participants’ age groups.

Weekend Respite Stays at Camp Papillon allow participants to enjoy the enchanting Camp Papillon site for a weekend.
Surrounded by nature, these getaways offer a break from the everyday routine in a setting conducive to discovery and relaxation. With a carefully crafted program adapted to the seasons, these moments provide an escape into a world of adventure.For families, we offer peace of mind, knowing their child is in a safe and engaging environment. Our stays give parents the necessary rest, allowing them to recharge, spend time with each other, and care for other family members. Weekend Respite Stays at Camp Papillon is a lifeline for families, helping them better face the challenges of daily life. We believe in the importance of caring for those who care for others, and we are committed to providing this supportive, loving, and safe space for families and their loved ones.
Ratio
We determine the staff-to-participant ratio based on each individual’s needs, after reviewing the participant’s file.
Meals
All meals and snacks for Saturday and Sunday are included in the stay. An evening snack is provided on Friday.
Schedule, Rates, and Contact Information
Schedule:
Papillon Respite – Lanaudière, at Camp Papillon, offer weekend respite stays, from Friday to Sunday. Stays are scheduled on specific dates based on the age of participants.
- Arrival time: Friday, between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
- Departure: Sunday, between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Round-trip transportation from Montreal to Camp Papillon is available for $50. Reservation required.
Rates:
The cost of a weekend respite stay varies depending on the participant’s level of autonomy. It includes accommodation, meals, snacks, personal care, and activities.
Financial assistance may be granted by Fondation Papillon based on family income.
Pre-registration:
To pre-register a camper for a stay at Papillon Respite – Lanaudière (Camp Papillon), you must complete the pre-registration form.
A member of our team will then contact you to confirm if a spot is offered to you.

The cost is $750 per weekend. Financial assistance may be available based on family income.
From Friday at 7 PM to Sunday at 3 PM.
You need to bring the user’s medications and personal items: clothing, incontinence underwear, toiletries, etc. A detailed list will be sent to you upon confirmation of the stay.
We accept payments via Interac e-Transfer, credit card, check, direct deposit, or cash. Payment plans in multiple installments can be arranged.
Yes. An RL-24 slip will be sent to you before the end of February for the previous year’s attendance at the Weekend Respite at Camp Papillon. The Social Insurance Number (SIN) and residential address of the person responsible for the user are required for issuing the RL-24 slip.
